How to Receive Criticism

Since you listened to Part 1, “Everybody’s a Critic,” you’re now beholden to switch seats and take some feedback.

No one likes surprise negative criticism and many struggle with the anxiety of a looming feedback session, but this information can be transformative. Obviously, you should consider the source, but, since we don’t always have 360 degrees of perspective, any information can be good information.

Now, wipe that scowl off your face and pretend to appreciate this critique. In time, you’ll be glad you got it.
